CRAIL CREEK FAMILY LODGE

Located in Big Sky, Montana this picturesque alpine home utilizes interiors that are rustic-yet-refined, to enhance its relationship with the mountains that surround it. The owners' primary home is in a place where things tend to be a little more formal, and they wanted an escape where they and their three boys could fish, ski, and generally experience all of the things for which southwest Montana is famous. For that same reason, reclaimed hewn logs and local lichen-covered stone were used to represent natural elements, while the focus from inside the house remains on everything that's outside.
