Candace Tillotson-Miller, AIA, received her architectural education at
Montana State University and Rhode Island School of Design. She has worked
in the architectural field since 1985, licensed in 1991 and began private
practice in 1992. Candace is NCARB certified and currently holds licenses
in Montana, Wyoming and Colorado. Miller Architects office is located in the baggage building of the historical Train Depot Center in Livingston, Montana. Living on a cattle ranch it is only natural that the rural landscape Candace Tillotson-Miller knows so well should be the setting for her architectural projects, ranging from lodges and main residences to complete ranch renovations and light commercial. Whether Candace Tillotson Miller is revitalizing turn-of-the-century log buildings or creating innovative new structures, her profound appreciation of the Western vernacular brings a quality of timelessness to her work. She creates buildings that are both elegant and casual, capturing at once the romance and the reality of Western life. Candace Tillotson-Miller and her staff assume eight to ten major projects each year. She works closely with her clients, helping to articulate their desired requirements and vision, to create enduring architecture that is deeply personal to the owner.
